This notice explains how VL Legacy Solutions collects, uses and protects your personal data in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
Who we are
VL Legacy Solutions (SSM 202603021381 / JM1038884-W) is a sole proprietorship at No 2, Jalan Bukit, 31900 Kampar, Perak, Malaysia. VL Legacy Solutions is the data user responsible for your personal data.
What personal data we collect
When you contact VL Legacy Solutions through the website form, WhatsApp, phone or email, we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, the service you are interested in, your preferred language and your message. The form also records the page you sent it from.
When you become a client, we may collect further information needed for your matter, such as identity documents, family details and asset information.
The website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare provides privacy-friendly visitor statistics and processes technical data such as IP addresses for security and spam protection.
Why we use it
We use your personal data to respond to your enquiry, provide the services you ask for, keep records of our work and meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, such as Cloudflare (website hosting and spam protection) and ClickUp (enquiry management), which may store data outside Malaysia; with government offices, courts, lawyers or trustees where needed to carry out your matter; and with authorities where the law requires it.
The map on our contact section is loaded from Google Maps only if you choose to show it.
Is providing your data obligatory?
Your name and phone number are needed for us to reply to your enquiry. Other fields are optional. If you do not provide the required details, VL Legacy Solutions may not be able to respond or provide services.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
You may ask to access or correct your personal data, withdraw your consent or limit how we process it, by writing to admin@vllegacy.com or to our address above. We may charge a fee for data access requests as allowed by the PDPA.
Security
We take practical steps to protect your personal data from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections and restricted access to our records.
Changes and languages
We may update this notice from time to time; the date at the bottom of this page shows the latest version. This notice is available in English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia. If there is any inconsistency, the English version prevails.
